Lively foot stomping southern Appalachian music played by
Beth Eldridge and Woody Pringle, a husband and wife duet from
Bradford, New Hampshire. Old-Time music predates bluegrass and
even the Civil War in some cases. Their unique selections of
music include historic tunes from Eastern Kentucky, the Virginias,
the Ozarks, North Carolina, and a number of contemporary tunes.
Beth and Woody have each been playing old-time music for 30
years. Beth plays guitar, fiddle, bass, and sings beautiful ballads,
accompanied by Woody on banjo, fiddle, or mandolin. The Bog People
are often joined by Tii Mclane from Vermont, who sings, dances,
and plays fiddle, banjo, and guitar.
The Bradford Bog People perform at many venues including Barn
Dances, Bandstands, Camps, Craft Fairs, Coffeehouses, Conferences,
Festivals, Farmers Markets, Fund Raisers, Libraries, Parties,
Parking Lot Pickin, Picnics, Restaurants, Weddings, and School
Programs.
